As a family photographer in Calgary, and a mom to 4 busy kids life gets busy. What is one of the first things that I fall behind on? Editing my own kids photos. Here are some images that I finally got around to editing for my own kids. We spent new years in Spruce Grove, Alberta. We travelled over to Stoney Plain to celebrate New Years Eve with 9:00pm fireworks! That meant that the kids were up and ready to go on new years day. It was such a beautiful day and the best thing to do as a kids on a gorgeous winter day is to go tobogganing!!! We had a blast. The hill was perfect, not too big, not too small. There was something for everybody. Not only that, but my kids were able to go with some of their best friends. I think that when it comes to these friends, 7 kids is easier than 4. There is always someone to play with and what is more fun than a whole new crew of kids. These seven get along so well. Tobogganing is one of our favourite winter activities. Come Fall, my kids are itching for snow to get out and sled. There is nothing greater than a full sun winter’s day sledding down piles of snow. It doesn’t matter how cold it is, my kids can do this for hours. I am so glad to have these memories captured for them to share with their own kids as they get ready to go sledding. That is one of the best thing about photos, is sharing moments with those most important to you.
