So I haven’t blogged for a while and I have a very good reason! My husband and I took our kids on a trip of a lifetime.  We went for almost 3 weeks to England and Ireland. It was a trip almost two years int he making. Our last large family vacation waste Hawaii in the summer of 2014. We knew then that we needed to take them on another grand adventure. My husband, Kevin was born in Ireland and even though he left the Emerald Isle when he was only 6 years old he had such wonderful memories of his life there that he as always wanted to go back. I had never been and so I was more than happy to go. We had such a wonderful time. We are fortunate enough as a couple to travel a couple times a year to amazing and exotic locations, but to go on a vacation with our kids was a whole different kind of adventure. We had never gone on a trip that was so long and so filled with new experiences. Everything from Giants Causeway and the Cliffs of Moher to Platform 9 and 3/4 and The Warner Bros. Studio Tour Harry Potter we filled every day with excitement and enthusiasm. There was hiking, Rock jumping, tourist attractions, farms, sheep, sheep and more sheep, zippiness, caves and stalactites. The list goes on and on. I can’t wait to share more of our trip! And now that we are home, our thoughts turn to our next adventure. One of my favourite things about this holiday has happened now that we have returned home. Our kids journaled diligently while away and they have had the opportunity to share these with several people. To listen to them tell the stories of our travels and what they have gained from the trip. The passion they have for sharing their experiences makes everything worth it!
