Oh my goodness. This little girl was the most amazing newborn baby. I was so excited to meet her and we had a wonderful session. I can’t wait to share even more with you. Here are just a few from an especially cozy moment in our session. I love when little babies are all wrapped up and snug as a bug in a rug. She looks so peaceful and warm. I love these first portraits of teeny tiny newborn babies. I love making them the focus of their session. I truly believe that the family images are so very important. Babies have such an amazing role in their new family, but I love making special images just of them. Celebrating their newness, their sleepiness, their squishiness. I love being a newborn photographer. I am so honoured to be welcomed into families homes as they are settling in with their newest family member. Then to be trusted to capture that first stage so they have images to treasure forever is the icing on the cake. My job is a huge part of who I am and I wouldn’t trade it for anything, especially when I get to work with babies and families like this one. I have to admit, I have never met a family I did’t love. As I watch these families be with each other, through my lens, I can’t help but fall in love. To watch new families fall in love with their newborn babies is contagious. Seriously, the best part of my job!
