This fall has been absolutely amazing! I have been so thrilled to see so many returning families, but I have also had the pleasure to photograph new families. This beautiful family and I shared a sweet little mini session. And we were able to great some amazing memories together. The video is so adorable. I love watching and documenting families together. My favourite images and videos are images that include relationships. Families together and Mom or Dad with their kids. These images are why I am a photographer. Images that show who your truly are and how important everyone in your family really is. These are the images and clips, that several year from now I want your kids to look at and remember. Remember it all, how you made them laugh, how you were proud of them, how they felt when they were in your arms. I think of what photographs of my family mean to me. And, even more so, how precious photos of my parents with their parents are to me. To take a look at the past and see the love and joy that was in their family. At every session, as I go through them I can’t help but think how young mom and dad look. When these kids are my age they are going to look back and see that their parents were once just like them. They were young and completely in love with their children and that nothing has truly changed even though everything has. It moves me to tears every time I think about it. 30 year from now what will your children feel when they look at these images, 60 year from now your grand children.
