Oh my goodness this little peanut was the most adorable sleepy baby I have met in a long time. He was a little angel for our session. As i get ready for his 6 month session coming up in the next couple of weeks, I was reminded that I had not yet shared his newborn photos. Newborn photography is a specialty of mine that I have dedicated much of my training and photography career to. I love these brand new people. Getting to meet so many fresh humans is one of the greatest joys of my job. Watching their parents welcome them into their families and getting excited with new big brother and sisters as they get to hold and touch their new baby. But after all the family images are complete and mom has given baby one more feed just to make sure he is comfortable it is time for just me and baby. Often times we will go into a room in his home with beautiful light where we can warm the room up to a very comfortable temperature for the baby, a very warm temperature for me and anyone else in the room. Mom and Dad are welcome to join us of course, but it is often so warm in there that they leave us to get the new baby’s first portraits. Baby sleeps and I take my time to make sure he is cozy and comfortable and the most adorable he can be. I love getting the opportunity to cuddle and bounce these tiny humans and then getting to make their first portraits is truly one of the best way I can spend my day.
