So over the last couple of weeks we have been very busy in our household. With the school year winding down, and some amazing weather i have to admit that photos were not top of my mind. Shame on me. But I did make these games and I love them. I am back at it now and hope to continue documenting my family’s memories for at least the rest of the summer. I don’t know if any of you are Calvin and Hobbes fans, but we are huge fans here. It is one of the first books that all my kids have tried to read and a favourite for bedtime reading. One thing I love about Calvin is his imagination and some of my favourite comics involve his “transmogrifier” Here is my two youngest boys with their own version the “tRans MoGR FryR”, and they couldn’t be cuter. This morning they became everything from dinosaurs to bunnies to caterpillars. They tried to eat the cats and crawled all over me. They played so nicely together and worked as a team. These are the moments, as a mom, that I love. The moments that don’t necessarily involve me, but where my kids are building a closer bond, where they are making memories with each other. I always dreamed that my children would be close to each other and actually enjoy playing with one another. It makes me so happy when I see this dream come true. I almost didn’t want to interrupt them to take the photo, I was very sneaky as I approached their room and snapped a few shots before they were too distracted by me, then I silently left them to themselves.  Here is my cheeky boy. Does he know he is not to stand on the chair, yes. Did I make the rule he shouldn’t stand on the chair, yes. Does that mean I can’t get my camera before I tell him to get down from the chair because the light is so beautiful in the living room in the morning and take a picture, no it does not.
