I love observing and capturing families welcoming their newborn baby. Newborn sessions are so great because they are a special time set aside to celebrate your newest family member. Time to watch how adorable they are and how amazing it is that they are here. This family was so thrilled to show off their little boy. I was so thrilled to meet him. I first met them when big sister was a tiny newborn baby. I have watched her grow and seen her several times since then. She has grown into such a delightful and sweet little girl. A complete reflection of her parents. I am so excited to watch their little boy grow and see who he becomes over the next year. We have already booked our six months and one year photo session! Babies chance so much in the first year, the difference from the newborn session to the six month session is the greatest change you will see in your child in the same period in their life time. They go from sleepy, squishy, hungry, new, tiny bundles of love to bouncy, smiley, noisy, adorable, squishy – in a different way – squirmy babies. It is a change I love to watch unfold. Then comes their first birthday and their little personalities are really starting to shine. They are on the move and ready to go. But back to this little guy and his wonderful family, I was luck enough to capture hime before he was born at this maternity session where we ought up on the last year and talked about how excited they were to meet this little man. I Love it when we go to newborn sessions and the older sibling is so excited to share their new sibling with me. This is another bonus for having a maternity session, your older children are already familiar with me, making them so much more comfortable at the newborn session.
